We understand AFH training and compliance can feel overwhelming. This section covers the most common questions about our classes, scheduling, and DSHS requirements.

Are your classes approved by DSHS?

Yes. All training is DSHS-approved and provided by instructors who are officially listed under Alcare Training. Our courses meet current DSHS requirements for Adult Family Home providers and caregiving staff.

Do you offer mobile or on-site training?

Yes. We are mobile instructors and provide training at your location for your convenience. Classes can be conducted one-on-one or in group settings, depending on your needs.

Who are your training programs for?

Our training is designed for AFH Providers, caregivers, delegated caregivers, and care staff who need orientation, continuing education, Nurse Delegation, or specialized care training.

How many Continuing Education credits do caregivers need?

Caregivers are required to complete 12 Continuing Education (CE) credits before their annual deadline (based on their birthday). We help ensure your staff completes the correct credits on time.

Do you offer Nurse Delegation and Diabetes-focused training?

Yes. We provide Nurse Delegation Basics and Nurse Delegation with a Focus on Diabetes, taught by an experienced RN with extensive AFH and nursing background.
